Prenatal Iron Without the Side Effects & More Benefits!

wp_featuredimage_prenataliron02

Iron is an essential mineral that is especially crucial during pregnancy—women need 3 to 5 times more iron during pregnancy.

Studies show that supplementing with iron during pregnancy to meet these increased needs promotes healthy birth weights and full-term births.

But the problem that many women experience with taking iron during pregnancy is that typical forms of iron (i.e. ferrous sulfate) can cause gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, constipation, vomiting, diarrhea, and/or abdominal distress.

That’s what makes Albion® Ferrochel a better form of iron—studies show fewer instances of gastrointestinal side effects with Ferrochel than with typical iron. Now women can take the essential iron they need during pregnancy without the unpleasant gastrointestinal upset.

Albion’s Ferrochel iron offers other research-backed advantages as well. It does not have the unpleasant taste of typical iron supplements—a study found that nearly one third of pregnant women stopped taking a typical iron supplement due to taste, compared with none of the women taking Ferrochel.

Ferrochel is also a more effective form of iron—studies comparing it to typical iron found that it was significantly more effective at improving iron status.

We use Ferrochel as the source of iron in Prenatal Oxylent because of its superior quality, safety, and effectiveness.

Women love Prenatal Oxylent because it’s a prenatal multivitamin that does NOT require swallowing pills or tablets—it’s a refreshing sparkling drink instead of pills!

Each single-serving packet of Prenatal Oxylent mixes with water to create a sparkling drink with a refreshing cranberry-raspberry natural flavor that delivers a full-spectrum daily prenatal multivitamin—including Ferrochel iron, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, choline, and several B vitamins including vitamin B6, which can help reduce nausea. All with no sugar, GMOs, gluten, dairy, soy, herbs, preservatives or additives.

Prenatal Oxylent recently won the 2013 Best of Supplements Award, and the American Pregnancy Association also recommends it as its prenatal multivitamin of choice.

Thanks for posting such interesting article. I am 30 years old. I was diagnosed with deficient in iron and vitamin after my pregnancy. Thus doctor prescribed me to have multivitamins with iron twice in a week. I am feeling better a lot after having this.
